On January 26, 2018, the first unit of a wind farm in Henan was connected to the grid, with a total installed capacity of 162MW, including a 1200 meter overhead collection line and a 23612 meter cable collection line.
In June 2019, our collection line monitoring device was applied to this wind farm grid, and on November 14 of the same year, a line fault tripping event was successfully monitored. The system accurately located the fault locations and issued an alarm message. The operation and maintenance personnel went to investigate and found that the line cable joint fault caused the trip, and immediately took corresponding emergency measures.
Since its application, it has made great contributions to the stable operation and fault handling of the lines, especially in providing important reference for hazard warning, fault positioning, cause identification, and line renovation.
A wind farm in Anhui Province has a total installed capacity of 99MW, with 33 wind turbines of 1500kW capacity installed.
In October 2020, our company's collection line monitoring device was applied to the wind farm grid, and on February 22, 2021, a line fault tripping event was successfully monitored. The system accurately located the fault locations and issued an alarm message. The operation and maintenance personnel went to investigate and found that the wire clamp was broken, causing the line to trip. Immediate emergency measures were taken.
This device can quickly determine the fault zone, clarify operation and maintenance responsibilities, locate the fault point, provide guidance for rapid emergency repairs. It effectively shorten the power outage time due to line faults, reduce economic losses caused by power outages, and provide guarantees for the rapid recovery of power supply.
